In an effort to keep Eric from finding out about his surprise party later that evening (and to make the kids happy), we made this beautiful cake for his 30th birthday. The kids did all the frosting and decorating (maybe I should have let them bake it too...then maybe it wouldn't be so lopsided). Then, Braden felt compelled to fill it with 30 candles. Unfortunately, we didn't have that many (30 really is a big number, you know), so we quit putting candles in when the cake started falling apart. Happy 3-0 Daddy!
