July!

What fun we had this July! Braden finished up his first season of t-ball, which was a blast. We havn't yet decided who enjoyed it more...Braden or Daddy. It was so fun to watch him progress from the first game: "I hit the ball, now what do I do?" to hitting, running the bases, fielding grounders, and even trying to throw the other team out at first. Most importantly though, he loved every minute of it...all the way to the ice cream we got at Sonic on the way home! What a fun summer he has had.

Aubrey, on the other hand, was not so into the t-ball thing. Rather, she enjoyed scaling the bleachers, playing in the dirt, and (much to my dismay) using the "big girl potty" at the ball park. Aubrey has had fun this summer though zooming around the cul-de-sac on her trike. She has become quite a little speed demon! In the picture above, Aubrey is eating what was probably her 10th star-shaped cupcake at Grammy and Papa's house on the 4th of July.

Miss Brooke would probably chalk up July as her best month yet, as she finally got to try some of that fabulous food she has been watching us eat for so long. She is thrilled to get a bite! She loves everything, especially mashed potatoes and chicken pot pie. I'm sure she also got her fair share of homemade ice cream on the 4th of July, but they do try to hide those things from me. She has become an absolutel blast as she cackles at her brother and sister and now likes to play with her toys. We can't believe how fast she is growing!
